There is No Respect of Persons with God
For there is no respect of persons with God. For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another; In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. (Rom 2:11-16 KJV)
There is no respect of persons with God: We can safely say that god doesn’t care about your opinion, beliefs or where you think you stand with him. YHVH (God) is looking for a people to bring to himself that will respect him and his commands to be a part of his future kingdom that will have no end. Sin creates a separation from a holy and just God and that is not his desire. YHVH’s desire is for us to remain in obedience, just as his son did, and to walk even as Jesus (Yeshua) walked in obedience. Continue Reading →
For This You Know with Certainty…
Ephesians 5:5 For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. (Eph 5:5 NAS)
When Paul is writing to the Ephesians he points out that for this you know with certainty that some people who meet a defined qualification will have no place in the kingdom. The Everlasting Gospel
And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. (Rev 14:6-7 KJV)
What is the everlasting gospel?
In this exciting verse we see an angel with the everlasting gospel that is preached to every nation, kindred, tongue and people. But what is this everlasting gospel that he is preaching? He gives us a small clue by saying to fear God and give God glory for God’s judgment has come and to be sure to worship the one that made heaven, earth, the sea and the fountains of waters. Touch Not the Unclean Thing and I Will Receive You
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2Co 6:17-18 KJV)
One of our favorite quotes is to “come out from among them and be ye separate” to show us as leaving the world and its sin behind us. What Spirit Is Influencing You?
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned (1Co 2:9-14 KJV)
It is such an interesting question of what spirit is influencing you. Have you ever had a time driving around a mall during a busy shopping season and you hear a voice telling you to turn here? You turn and lo and behold there is someone 3 cars in from the door that just flipped into reverse?
